We visited one of our adopted dogs a few weeks back, and also to take photos of him for our upcoming 2016 calendar. Cody, now Ben, enjoys the sun, the sand, and the sea with his two buddies. They pick coconuts and run along the beach together.
Our volunteers almost couldn’t bear to leave as they can’t stop watching him play with the girls and to see how happy he was there. It was a very heart-warming sight. You might not know, but Ben and his siblings were rescued from a shipyard when they were about 2 months old. All of them have since been adopted. Seeing scenes like that just makes everything we do worthwhile.
