Thank you for thinking of us. With over 500 dogs under our care, basic necessities like the daily feed, tick and heartworm prevention medications take up a big part of our expenditure. We would greatly appreciate any of these donations!

- Nexgard / Nexgard Spectra for Dogs 10kg and above
- Simparica / Simparica Trio for Dogs 10kg and above
- Martingale collars for medium / large dogs
- Training leashes for medium dogs (between 2-5 metres long)
- Good quality grooming clipper set
- Joint supplements (for our ageing dogs!)
- High-value training treats
- Long-lasting dental chews, such as bully sticks, duck necks
Other items needed regularly for administration & operations:
- Printer
- Laundry powder
- Method all purpose surface cleaner
- Hand wash
We do not need:
- Biscuit dog treats (our dogs are really picky!)
- Dog bowls
- Dog beds
- Dog crates
- Diapers & pee trays
- Dog toys that are for tiny dogs
- Grooming tools
- Harnesses (unless they’re easy-walk / gentle leader harnesses)
SOSD accepts donations of new or gently used items listed above that are clean, in good condition, and suitable for re-sale or distribution to those in need. Donations not needed at the shelter may be distributed to fosterers, adopters, other shelters or caregivers of community animals, and may be sold to generate revenue for the organization.
While we appreciate your kindness, due to manpower and audit concerns, it will be additional work for us to sort through the donations we will not need. Also, we may have to end up tossing them in the bin and large items will cost us money to dispose. Thank you for your understanding!
We seek your understanding that we are unable to pick up the items due to lack of manpower and capacity. We would greatly appreciate it if you can drop off the items anytime between 10am-6pm at the shelter at The Animal Lodge (As shown below).
