Starting as a dog walker volunteer, I gradually became involved in rehoming and fostering when I realized making a difference in the dogs’ lives gave me rejuvenated purpose. Recognizing my finance background and expertise, I willingly assumed the thankless role of treasurer, a crucial position for the organisation. The alignment of my financial skills with my deep love for animals made this role a perfect union of my passions.
