Personality: Brava was rescued from one of our oldest Trap-Neuter-Release site, and is the 2nd last unsterilized female from there. She had evaded capture for a few years now, but only because she was sick and couldn’t run away from us as quickly as she used to. Brava is down with tick fever and heartworm, and would need to undergo several months of treatment.
Brava has since recovered from tick fever, and is still recovering from heartworm. She’s also opened up quite a bit with us at the shelter, and while she is still quite shy, she’s starting to gain confidence walking on leash outside. She will definitely do even better in a home environment, but adopters will need to meet her several times, to get more familiar with handling her.
