Personality: Our volunteers picked up Charcoal when he was wandering in Mandai. When we managed to trace the owners, they had unfortunately eventually ignored our messages despite being keen to take him home initially. Charcoal has a quick temper, and has bitten a couple of people since he came to us. He is sensitive and goes into a mood on rainy days, so its best to leave him alone. He gets riled up and barks at noise outside, or strangers walking past the unit. Thankfully, he warms up to female handlers fairly quickly, and is always excited to see some familiar faces. We hope to give this boy the best possible quality of life, even if he might have to be a shelter dog for the rest of his life.
