Personality: Fynn was rescued from Jurong Island at 3 months old and was very timid when we first met him, he would cower in fear and avoid eye contact. With the help of his fosterer, he has slowly stepped out of his shell, and learnt to appreciate and explore new things outside. He has learnt the commands “”sit”” and “”come””.
For a skittish dog, he walks well on leash, and would walk beside his fosterer most of the time. He is pee-pad and grass-trained. When his fosterer has to run errands or go to work, he stays in his playpen quietly.
Unfortunately, he was diagnosed with acute kidney failure at the age of 6 months old. The vets cannot seem to figure out what caused it, as he was young and most of the dogs in the shelter were fine. As such, he requires administration of subcut fluids twice a week.
