Personality: When Yoyo was caught for sterilization, we thought she was pregnant. Turned out, her spleen was extremely enlarged and had to be removed.
After coming to shelter, Yoyo started urinating blood one day. When we brought her back to the vet, her blood count was horrendously low, and needed blood transfusion. Due to the removal of her spleen, she took a while to respond to treatment, but was finally fit for discharge after more than a week at the vet.
Yoyo is doing really well at shelter currently, and her appetite is fantastic. Her last review at the vet showed slight improvement, and we hope she will continue to get better. She’s learning to walk on leash too.
We hope we help her gain confidence on leash outside, so that we can find a home which is a lot more conducive for her recovery!
