We received the best news possible for New Year’s Eve. Titan has just been adopted – he is the 50th adult dog from our shelter to find a home this year; a fitting end to this jubilee SG50 year!

Titan, whom we literally watched growing up, spent more than a year in the shelter, unable to find a home because of his high energy. As a puppy, he was boisterous, but as he grew up and mellowed, he was always a fave with volunteers. Besides being friendly and absolutely adorable, he is famous for his strange sleeping positions, and his signature “roast duck” resting position!

Titan is blessed to finally meet his family, a beautiful one that did not give up on him, that was willing to go the distance to integrate him into their lives.

“We met Titan at the SOSD shelter in October. We were initially looking for a puppy but were convinced by the volunteers that an adult dog may be more suitable for our family as we have young children and elderly members as well. Titan was friendly and had really intelligent eyes. We loved his floppy ears and handsome face. After several visits, we took him on a home stay. It took him and us a while to get to know each other. We got over the initial challenges with support from the SOSD volunteer. Titan is now a member of our pack and we are very proud of him!”
