Last week, we had the privilege to speak to the students at Pathlight School. 450 students aged between nine and fourteen years had an extraordinary moment with SOSD Team Outreach during their contact time. These kids from Pathlight School heard about how anyone of any age can share their hearts to love and be compassionate towards our homeless street dogs.

And these special kids at Pathlight showed us that the language of Love and Compassion has no barriers and transcends physical conditions including autism. The kids were really fantastic and warmed our hearts. One precious girl even approached our team to say hello and told them to expect her at our shelter when she gets older.

SOSD Outreach

SOSD’s reach extends to not just the rescues of street dogs but to reach out through our advocacy for a more compassionate society. Anyone with a beating heart can reach out to the vision and make it happen.

The humane social foundation of our future generation lies in the education of society’s living example. SOSD’s Team Education and Outreach reaches out to the younger generation of future leaders by spreading social awareness and educating humane moral values to students in schools and institutions through our in-house action programs and social modules. If you would like us to come to your school or institution, or to explore volunteerism in our Outreach programs, you can reach us at our Team Education and Outreach email: outreach@sosd.org.sg

As SOSD is fully operated by volunteers, please note that the availability of these programs will be subjected to the availability of volunteers.
