Last Friday, a very special group of students came to our shelter to visit our dogs.
This group of students from Yishun Town Secondary School, together with their Form Teachers, has been helping Sosd with our flag day at Scape for the past few years.
On top of that, they initiated a fund raising event in school and raised a total of $470.55 to our cause.
Service learning is done at its best when the students follow through the entire process with coming up with a book on Animal awareness to be shared with their CCE department, passing on their knowledge to other students.
As their time in Yishun Town Secondary School draws to an end, these amazing students from Sec 4N3’ 2018 visited our shelter and came face to face with the beneficiaries of their hard work over the years.
Their selfless spirit is admirable and highly commended.
