12 lives were saved on 6th August.
Born in a factory, unwanted, and seen as pests, the management wanted these puppies OUT. The feeders pleaded for mercy to buy time while we scrambled to make space for more puppies.
But the management, true to their words, contacted dog catchers and the puppies were removed. All 12 puppies were impounded in AVA and were on the death row unless rescued.
Despite not having enough space, we had to get them out. It took 4 volunteers a whole day of scrambling, to bail the puppies out from AVA, sending them to the vet and cleaning, deticking and defleaing them: ticks and fleas were literally flying off them.
Rescuing is only the first step. With lack of space, fosterers, adopters, it will be more and more of a struggle trying to find our rescued dogs homes.
This weekend is our nation’s birthday and as we show our love to the place we proudly call home, help our dogs to find their forever home too.. Homes they can call their own, where they are wanted, and not in danger of being culled like pests anymore.
Help us spread the word, about homeless dogs which need a second chance in life.. You can help in many ways: fostering, adopting, spreading the word, and donating to the cause, so that more lives can be saved.
