Change can only be brought about when more people stand up to make that difference. And the first step to that is sharing. That is why SOSD places so much emphasis on reaching out to as many people as we can.
Our Outreach & Education arm conducts at least twice weekly sessions, whether it is conducting talks at schools or bringing dogs and volunteers to institutions to provide comfort through Healing Paws Program.
Our latest program: Canine Chums, is a very special program. Here, we bring our rescued dogs to students in NUS, NTU, etc, to share their stories with you. Every session is filled with lots of joy and laughter, and with every session, several more of Singapore’s young would have heard the story of Singapore’s homeless dogs. Slowly, through hard work, we believe that we can change how homeless animals are regarded in Singapore.
