The festive season is here again. Christmas is a time when we give gifts to our loved ones – everything from cards to tarts, and mugs to rugs. Often, we forget the most precious gifts are the ones money cannot buy – The Gift of Love and Friendship.
Hence, we decided to do something special and different this Christmas: reward people with a therapeutic surprise session on-board our car, with a friendly fur-friend from Healing Paws!
SOSD’s Healing Paws program visits homes, hospitals and institutions every week to bring joy to people in need. We wanted to bring a little of that joy to people on the streets this Christmas. Posing as a normal private car for hire, we picked up passengers for the day, only for them to discover that they are in for a car ride they will remember for a long time!
