Bravey used to be a resident of Jurong Island where she spent the cutest and most innocent days of her life braving the harsh, unforgiving and dangerous conditions of an industrial area where heavy vehicles are aplenty.
When SOSD volunteers found this lovely little black beauty, she was struggling – dragging her body around using only her front paws – seemingly a victim of a hit-and-run accident. With the help of kind donors who paid for her surgery and countless hydrotherapy sessions later, Bravey recovered and was ready for a better life.
It was during one of the adoption drives where Bravey met Jeff’s family. Coincidentally, Jeff was looking to adopt a black doggie and Bravey caught his and his family’s eyes. With nods of approval from everyone in the family, especially Jeff’s young son and daughter, Bravey went to their home for a trial homestay and the rest was history.
Bravey now lives happily in her new home with her four human family members. She enjoys her daily doses of walks, belly rubs, games of tag with the young ones and most importantly the love that every single dog (stray or pedigree) in this world deserves.
