She loves her humans fiercely and jumps in excitement when she sees them. She’d give lots of passionate kisses to their faces and lie on her back to demand for belly rubs. When we stop patting her, she’d paw our hand for more pats.
Libby has skin issues that can be managed with regular showers and medicated cream. When we clean or apply medication at her sore areas for too long, she may air snap. However, she is forgiving and goes back to her loving self very quickly.
Libby is generally accepting with other dogs, although she may bark and air snap at them if they get too close when she’s receiving affection. She has playful moments and may engage in play with other dogs given the right conditions.
She walks well on loose leash, although she is wary of vehicles and can get scared and pull back home when it gets too overwhelming. A homebody, she doesn’t feel like going out some days. Proper training can help with her walks, she is rather food motivated so she is quite trainable. She is used to doing her business on pavements but can be grass trained. She can do cues like “Sit”, “Down”, “Stand” and “Come”.
